“The Great Awakening”
with Jim Wallis

At extraordinary times in American history there have been movements of spiritual revival that transform and awaken the American Consciousness. These awakenings often produce unequivocal progressive social change that alters the political and religious landscape of many subsequent generations. Historians have identified at least three such periods in American history, they dubbed each one a “Great Awakening.” As New York Times’ best stelliing author, Jim Wallis, has traveled the country, he has found a nation that is hungry for the politics of solution and hope. In his new book, Wallis convincingly argues that the nation is on the verge of its next Great Awakening and he shows how Americans, can reinsert themselves into the political process and reclaim government as a force for good.
